South Indian Goli Bhajji:
Ingredients:
1. Maida -1cup
2. Besan -2 teaspoons
3. Curds -1 cup
4. Salt to taste
5. Sugar - A pinch
6. Green Chilies-2-3
7. Ginger -A small piece grated
8. Asafoetida- 1 teaspoon
9. Baking soda- 1 teaspoon
Method:
- Sieve all purpose flour/ maida, besan and baking powder
- Beat curds, add chopped green chillies, ginger, asafoetida water, salt and sugar and mix well.
- Do not add water while mixing as the bhajjis will absorb oil.
- Keep it aside for 15 -30 minutes in room temperature.
- Heat oil in deep pan, make balls of the batter and deep fry until golden brown.
Serve hot with coconut chatni
